RightLane speaks at East KY Power's Safety Week

Donna and Sharon with members of EKPC Safety Team.

R.I.G.H.T. and RightLane. The stars collided last week when RightLane visited East Kentucky Power Cooperative. It seemed happenstance at first that RightLane was hired to do safe driving training by the company that chose R.I.G.H.T. as the their Safety theme. R.I.G.H.T. stands for the Reason I Go Home Tonight. Employees from all the different locations of EKPC proudly displayed photos of the people who love them. We saw photos of families celebrating big events like births and weddings, but we mostly saw families enjoying a simple life. Standing with your husband and 4 year old by a tent, out on a boat on Lake Cumberland, or at a Father's Day event with 3 teenagers who actually posed for photo with their proud Dad. Turns out, this is exactly WHY RightLane does what it does. We encourage people to focus at all times so they can maximize their time with the people they love. It's a safety thing behind the wheel and it's an undivided attention thing with the people who need you. Yep, a reminder that we all need from time to time.

What's the reason you go home tonight?

Thanks, East Kentucky Power for shining the light!
